Construction With the Dragonfly 600 g core, the use of face wood in stress zones allows harder wood to be swapped for lighter species without losing strength. In four separate zones, the wood fibre of the Multizone EGD runs perpendicular to the core adjacent to The Channel® - the area from which the rider's power emanates - for ultimate strength and edge control. The 45° Carbon Highlights optimise each layer of the fibreglass matrix, adding a continuous carbon layer to reduce weight and fine-tune torsional feel to achieve different ride characteristics. The 45° slanted fibre layer makes the board more aggressive. Hi-Voltage models incorporate additional carbon strands to the bevelled fibre layers to extend life and reduce weight even further.
