As with all Carrera bikes the Carrera Furnace 1 comes with an Alloy frame to give you a lightweight ride. The Alloy frame is teamed with Suntour’s XCM front suspension fork, which gives 120mm of travel and can be adjusted depending on the type of ride or surface. This means your bike is set up to give you your desired ride.
Efficient modern gears
To enhance the riding experience the Carrera Furnace 1 also has a 2x (2 by). One less cog at the front than many bikes at this price point means less weight and less maintenance but also makes changing gears more intuitive as fewer choices help you get the one you want quicker… and don’t worry about the range of gears. The Furnace 1 has an extra large cassette at the back wheel so you’ve still got those important choices at the top and bottom end of the range. Less sometimes definitely is more!
Powerful breaking
Stopping power is important when you’re taking a bike off-road. To give you the confidence to hit the trails the Carrera Furnace 1 is equipped with hydraulic disc brakes which give you greater level of consistency in your stopping power.
