Description
This attractive Clematis forms into an upright, open, non-climbing, herbaceous perennial, with delicate star-shaped blue flowers, and pale green denticulated leaves. The flowers produce a sweet fragrance that attracts lots of pollinating insects, like bees and butterflies. New Love likes to be planted in moisture-rich, well-drained soil, with its roots in the shade, and the main part of the plant in the full sun or semi shade. To give the best start, blend well-rotted manure or compost, and a general purpose fertiliser in with your soil.
