A salt and pepper mill set with a twist. Lyndhurst from Cole & Mason is made of beautiful ash wood in a contemporary design and Nordic White finish with brushed metal accents. Ideal for daily use or Nordic-themed meals such as home-cured salmon gravadlax easily made with salt, pepper, sugar, fresh dill and juniper berries. Serve generous slices with a pumpernickel or rye bread, lemon wedges and a dollop of creme fraiche topped with a crack of black pepper. Select from six pre-set grind levels for pepper and three pre-set grind levels for salt, to precisely adjust the grind from fine to coarse. Select a fine grind for a big punch in sauces or soups or effortlessly switch to a more coarse grind for a more subtle but longer-lasting taste, great for salads or steaks. The ceramic grind on the salt mill is corrosion-resistant and the Precision+ carbon steel mechanism strips peppercorns instead of crushing them, ensuring maximum flavour release from every turn. The hardwearing qualities of the mechanisms give a consistently outstanding performance. The inverted design means the mechanism is hidden at the top, underneath the stainless steel disc. To use, turn the mill upside down and begin to mill. The clever design keeps surfaces mess-free since the mills are returned upright to store when not in use.
