‘Scardy Cat’ has a pungent scent that will protect your garden from any unwanted visitors; luckily this can only be smelt by humans when it is touched! This Coleus Canina is a cruelty free solution to stop any cats, dogs, foxes and even the rabbits from ruining your beloved garden! This half-hardy perennial produces masses of pretty green foliage and little pastel purple-blue flowers, suitable for boarders and containers! Pot up coleus plants into 9cm pots and grow them on in warm frost free conditions for transplanting into borders and containers later on. When all risk of frost has passed and plants are well grown, gradually acclimatise Scaredy Cat plants to outdoor conditions over 7 to 10 days. Transplant into sunny borders on any well drained soil. Feed and water plants regularly. Scaredy Cat plants may be overwintered if moved to a bright frost free position. Divide overcrowded clumps of coleus plants in spring to maintain their vigour.
