Continental Race King RaceSport Clincher MTB Tyre By utilising Continental’s renowned BlackChili compound, the Race King RaceSport Clincher MTB Tyre manages to be fast rolling and grippy whilst still being durable. It is intended as a rapid dry/all-round tyre with closely packed knobs along the centre line to reduce drag and more widely spaced lugs on the shoulders for cornering grip. With 180tpi the carcass is supple so that it deforms more easily for less resistance and it is impressively light for a 29 x 2.2” tyre with a manufacturer’s claimed weight of just 530 grams.
