Crab
Description
The sleeper crab, also known as the Brown crab, is the most common species in Europe. This large crab with 5 legs is recognizable by its brown shell with orange nuances, and bordered by a serrated festoon. The latter allows it to easily blend into a rocky environment and to merge with the oval pebbles that litter the seabed. This phenomenon is accentuated in older ones whose shells are furnished with marine organisms.
