Description
Our Scalloped briefs are made in 100% silk and handcrafted as part of our Zero-Waste programme in our London studio. Luxuriously soft, smooth and breathable they are the perfect elegant essential to add to your Lingerie drawer. All our pants are Naturally hypoallergenic with a comfortable elasticated fit. For the sustainably conscious - we create all our pieces with the view of disassembly, meaning our elastic has been sewn into a channel to allow for easy removal if the elastic needs replacing over the years or disposing of. For circularity of the product leave the silk in the in the ground to biodegrade when no longer useful. We believe clothes are investments; pieces to love, cherish and pass down through generations of family and friends. In order to help you keep your garment looking wonderful forever, we have included some care guidelines. Remember, in general for eco-friendly garment-care, wash and iron at lower temperatures and only tumble dry when necessary! We understand Silk is a delicate fabric and breakages can happen, so for a small fee, to cover wages, we will repair any CREASE piece in order to breathe new life into your garments. Simply send us a message and send it to us! The vital Dos and Don’ts to keep your pieces looking there best: DO -Hand wash in cool-warm water using a mild detergent. Avoid temperature changes in wash water; stick with cool or lukewarm water for the entire ‘hand wash cycle’ -Squeeze out excess water by rolling it in a clean, dry towel. -Rinse really well; the lower the washing temperature the more important it is to rinse thoroughly. -Dry hanging or lying on a clean, flat towel. -Badly stained garments should be taken to a dry cleaner. (Make sure they are recommended for silk.) -Iron on the reverse using a cool but steam setting. Preferably between two layers of cloth, especially for embroidered items. -Store in a dry, dark closet/wardrobe and remember, silk is a natural fibre and needs air; do not store in plastic. DON’T -Leave for prolonged amounts if time in direct sunlight or heat (it will cause yellowing) -Wring it out or leave it crumpled – The fabric will become damaged and the creases (excuse the pun!) – will be near impossible to get out! -Spot clean – as water can often leave a stain -Use a stain remover at home on silk – it will damage the fibres and could cause them to become discoloured and break down. -Leave damp embroidered items folded or pressed together as the colours could transfer.
