Crocosmia Firestars Hot SPotted Plant 9cm Potted Plant x 1
Description
With stunning bicolour blooms these are easy to grow and reliable. Each yellow bloom has a central ring of cherry red blotches, which bleed along the length of the petals. Perfect for sunny herbaceous borders, adding colour and a wow factor. Grow Crocosmia in rich fertile, moist, well drained soil in full sun or semi shade. If necessary, improve soils by adding plenty of well rotted manure prior to planting. Crocosmia requires little attention throughout the growing season. Remove old foliage and faded flower stems in autumn and apply a mulch of bark chips or well rotted compost to protect the corms over winter. Lift and divide overcrowded clumps of Crocosmia in spring to maintain their vigour.
