Description
Crocus Grand Maitre Organic is a large flowered blue crocus perfect for naturalising. This variety is best planted in bold groups throughout areas of grass, rockeries, under trees or sprinkled at the front of beds and borders, where their colourful blooms will twinkle like jewels each spring. The numbers will increase with each year that passes. This blend of Crocus are robust sturdy varieties. Height:10cm (4”). Spread: 10cm (4”). Grow crocus in any well drained garden soil in sun or semi shade. Spring flowering crocus bulbs should be planted during the autumn, in large clumps at a depth of 10cm (4") and at a distance of 7cm (3") apart. Alternatively grow them in containers or naturalised in grass. Allow the strap like foliage to die back naturally after flowering. Avoid mowing areas of grass where crocus are naturalised until they have completely died back.
