This security light has no overheads or running costs, instead of taking its power from its solar panel on the top of the unit and recharging throughout the day. It comes with a 3.7V 1200mAh rechargeable Li-ion battery included for enhanced product life and is encased in a weather-resistant casing allows it to be functional in all weather conditions, great for dark, wet nights. This version comes fitted with a motion sensor that will automatically light up whenever you're within five metres of the light thanks to its PIR (infrared) movement detection. The LEDs have an eight-hour working time after a full charge. The security light is easy to use it comes complete with wall fixings, so it can be securely mounted in position. Then simply turn the switch to auto and position. 3 lighting modes mode 1: it will automatically illuminate when motion is detected after darkness. Mode 2: it will automatically illuminate with a low light when darkness falls, will then switch to a bright light when motion is detected. Mode 3: it will automatically illuminate with a medium-light when darkness falls and will stay on for 4-6 hours if fully charged. The solar panel must be placed in a well-lit location for maximum sunlight absorption. Anything that shades the panel will affect the brightness and lighting duration.
