The mattress is well tailored and features a hand tufted finish. This procedure involves passing a series of tapes through the mattress panels at regular intervals and securing them on each side with a cotton tuft. This process secures the generous layers of white fibre fillings ensuring they remain firmly in place. It also pre-tensions the mattress resulting in a firmer sleep surface. Its open coil spring system is robust, durable and made up of rows of hourglass shaped springs connected at the top and bottom by a spiral wire, commonly known as a helical wire..
