John Lewis & Partners + Denby is a collaboration of colour, texture and passion, created together with skill and care in Derbyshire, England. Our unique Quartz Jade pottery range of contemporary stoneware is handcrafted with a rich, textural glaze in subtle shades of green and soft blues. Presented in a Denby gift box this vase is inspired by the early salt glaze bottles produced by Denby in the late 19th century. A contemporary take on a simple form, its narrow opening is ideal for displaying a single favourite stem or a few choice flowers. Each piece of Denby stoneware is handcrafted using pottery techniques passed down through generations and can pass through as many as 20 pairs of hands during the making process. Every item of pottery is expertly glazed by skilled craftsmen and the distinctive glazes are renowned for their practicality and durability.
