The elastic spring steel frame provides flexibility while retaining durability and stable tension allowing to effectively transfer weight into the hip belts for load bearing comfort. This semi geodesic frame provides the backing for Deuters patented 3-sided ventilation system.The new Pivoting ActiveFit shoulder straps are flexible and automatically adapt to the shoulders width and angle. Their anatomical S-shape follows the neck and shoulder contour and thus prevents chafing or pressure points.
