Description
dhb have designed this jersey with autumn, spring and winter riding in mind. In this mid-weight 170gsm blend, the supreme temperature regulation of Merino has been combined with polyamide to allow for some extra stretch. The real secret of this jersey is an added polypropylene layer on the inside of the fabric. Soft next to the skin, this is incredibly hydrophobic, moving any moisture build-up to the outside for it to evaporate even quicker. Though Merino keeps working when it is wet, this is a nice touch to keep you more comfortable and concentrating on enjoying the ride. Made from wool, this is by no means a wooly jumper. With a fit similar to that of the dhb Aeron collection, this jersey sits close to the body without being at all restrictive. And with a cut to limit excess fabric when in a riding position, it is perfect for long days in the saddle. Merino blends Merino wool is often blended with nylon and polyester yarns to provide additional durability, faster drying time and dimensional stability without sacrificing its natural properties. Adding elastane helps stretch and recovery. The result is a high-performing fabric that can stand up to more washes and longer use. dhb yarns can be traced back to non-mulesed sheep on farms in Australia, New Zealand and South Africa.
