Musa Basjoo, the hardy banana tree is a superb tropical-looking elegant specimen plant to have within any garden, ideally suited for a sheltered spot in the garden border or in a large pot on the patio or decking. These amazing specimens can grow upto 5m tall within one season with huge tropical leaves acting as a canopy, amazingly these will die back each winter, but not to worry, as the following spring it will magically burst back into life and grow again, but bigger and bushier than the year before. Fully hardy down to -10, but if winter temperatures do drop below this (very rarely) a simple fleece or straw protection will help keep the plant protected. You will receive 2 very healthy Banana trees, which are approx 5ft / 150cm tall and supplied in large 3 Litre pots. (Picture is typical examples of what plants you will receive).
