The single motor gives you a lift, rest, and recline action all in one – meaning the footrest lifts or lowers as the back reclines or rises. To help you to your feet with ease the Chicago chair lifts and tilts forward, and in reverse this motion also helps you into a seat gently from standing. As additional safety measures it has both an in-built safety key in the handset which prevents accidental movement or entrapment, as well as a battery back-up in case of a power failure. Comfortable and convenient features Stylish and designed to fit in with any décor, the Chicago’s wipe-clean material has passed the Anti-Microbial ASTM G-21-96 and Crib 5 standards. This minimises the build-up of harmful bacteria to give you extra peace of mind, as well as making it suitable for multi-user nursing or care environments. The ergonomically contoured seat and back with padded upholstery gives you excellent levels of comfort so that you can recline and relax in your living space. It also features an extra comfy snooze position that reclines to 64°.
