DT Swiss 180 Straight Pull Disc Shimano 142x12mm Rear Hub The 180 Straight Pull Disc Shimano 142x12mm Rear Hub from DT Swiss sits at the top of their hub range, combining a stiff, lightweight machined hub body with low friction SiNC ceramic bearings. The Ratchet EXP system uses a sprung 36 tooth design for rapid pick-up and power transfer whilst also reducing the weight of the hub over the previous iteration. By moving the bearings outwards inside the ratchet, the hub has also been made stiffer whilst the No-Tool design allows for tool-free servicing and maintenance.
