Boasting an impressive mattress depth of 34cm, the Dura Beds Savoy 1000 is generously filled and pairs a deep upholstered base with a mattress that features body-moulding pocket springs.. The Savoy mattress is upholstered in a soft knitted stretch fabric and for added comfort; it features a high-loft cushion top with a micro quilted finish that ensures the surface layers stay in place. Its generous fillings are hypo-allergenic and boast a high level of antimicrobial and dust mite resistance. This provides an ideal sleeping environment for allergy sufferers or asthmatics. At the core of the mattress is its pocket spring interior; a system made up of totally independent springs that are smaller in diameter compared to a standard 3 open coil spring. Each spring is housed within its own cloth sleeve that allows it to move freely of any neighbouring springs; the result is the springs only compress where pressure is exerted. Although the mattress is one-sided, it is recommended that you rotate it regularly from head to toe. This will even out its wear and tear and help to enhance its lifespan.
