EBC Avid Elixir 07 Disc Brake Pads enable excellent braking performance and come in a choice of three compounds:
Green Pads
The green pads are suitable for cross-country, trekking and recreational riding, as well as being a popular pad which is durable and has good stopping power.
Red Pads
The red pads do not generate much heat so are great for downhill racing. They feature higher friction and enhanced braking power. A great upgrade pad for any bike that needs a boost in braking.
Gold Pads
The gold pads achieve a superb standard of braking power and provide outstanding resilience. They work exceptionally well on any terrain including sand, mud and water. A great pad to switch to if you are struggling with premature wear. The gold pads are not suitable for downhill racing.
