Description
It is a completely hand-woven carpet woven in Anatolia before the 1980s. It is made of wool and cotton. It has also been trimmed, shaved and washed in a modern vintage style. No machine was used at any stage while weaving the carpet. There are 22 stitches per 8cm in width, and 28 stitches per 8cm in length. The weaving process took place between 4 and 6 months on average. Moreover, with a technique called weft knitting, edge decorations, side ring knitting and different techniques varying from region to region were used. The carpet has been used with extreme care and is well preserved. After the selection of the product, it has been shaved and cleaned so that it can be used again. In addition, the carpet is completely natural, so it has not been repaired, reshaped or colored. Although it has a history of approximately 40 years, it has a modern appearance. It should not be whipped or beaten while cleaning. It should be cleaned every day with the brushless heads of the vacuum cleaner. It should be wiped using a soft cloth with natural soap or carpet shampoo. Chemical-containing detergents and harsh cleaning materials such as brushes cause deterioration in the structure of the carpet. The temperature of the water used in cleaning processes should not exceed 30 degrees. The liquid spilled on it should be removed by making a tampon with the help of an absorbent cloth. Stains should be treated immediately. It should be dried in a short time after cleaning. Carpet washing machines can be used for general cleaning or help from professional organizations can be obtained. Protect from direct sunlight. In order to prevent crushing, the items placed on it should not be left in the same place for a long time, they should be changed. When not in use, it should be stored in rolls in a moisture-free environment. Ebern Designs
