MET Echo Helmet
Description
An entry-level essential for the new trail enthusiast, the MET Echo Cycle Helmet (MIPS) features the same technology and safety as helmets higher up in its range, which includes the MIPS-C2® brain protection system. This allows the cycle helmet to slide relative to the head in the event of a crash, redirecting any damaging rotational motion. The Echo also comes with an increased coverage at the back of the head, an area in particular need of protection, alongside a removable visor and a reflective rear sticker that ensures visibility in low lighting. What is MIPS (Multi-directional Impact Protection System)? • MIPS is a Brain Protection System • Rotational motion can cause brain injuries • The low friction layer allows a sliding movement of 10–15 mm, in all directions, reducing rotational motion to the brain during impact • MIPS adds protection
