Description
Great as a hedge or specimen shrub, Elaeagnus x ebbingei 'Eleador' is a fully hardy evergreen, which can be trimmed to shape to any height up to 4m ( 12’). Elliptic, 10cm, leathery, glossy variegated leaves have silvery undersides, on plants which will tolerate drought, dry soils and coastal winds. Creamy white, highly fragrant, small flowers form in clusters during the autumn, followed by tiny fruits that may remain unripe or frosted as winter approaches. These are well-established plants that are ready to be planted straight out into final positions unless your garden soil is frozen or waterlogged.
