Once entered in the contest, shoe designs for each region were judged by a public vote and an expert Vans panel based on creativity, originality, and overall execution. The top 10 Asian finalists created a new custom shoe with expert help from Vans design mentors, and one final winner received a grand prize of $25,000-and the opportunity to have their creation come to life on the iconic Era silhouette.
