Here is a beautiful pair of antique boudoir cushions, probably from the late 1800s late Victorian period. These two wonderful circular shaped boudoir cushions have been all handmade. The centre of each is a lovely heavily beaded panel depicting leaves in clear, white & silver beads on a what feels like silk wool mix needlepoint backing. The beadwork panel is surrounded with a ruched deep pink heavy wool blend type fabric, they do come with the stuffing inside & have been stitched shut from when they were originally made. They are in very good condition for there age but have been handmade so are not perfect, to the back of one are a few small holes the worst of which I have shown in the ninth photo, also the fronts are a bit faded in comparison to the back which can be seen in the last photo. Please have a good look at the photos as they are a true representation of the condition. A brilliant pair which would brighten up any period home.
