This is an absolutely lovely pillow with the embroidery having a very botanical look. There is gentle overall fading I think but the genuine antique appearance is exquisite. I believe that whilst the actual pillow has age, the embroidery is far older - quite possibly Victorian. There are some age related flaws which I am pointing out as they aren't immediately noticeable; a few areas where there looks to have been darns but they blend in well. Please do zoom in on the photographs to view these. The cushion has a round feather pad which is sewn in & the actual cushion is not quite circular - home made & non-standard of course. It's a nice plump example with beautiful subtle colours, nicely trimmed & perfect as an accent in a room where antiques & time worn treasures create a timelessly elegant theme. THE MEASUREMENTS...
