This is a beautiful pillow in soft tones reminiscent of antique French Aubusson tapestries. Shades of subtle plaster-pinks, warm creams, olive, browns & soft reds create a classic, timeless palette. The front is hand-woven from wool & the back is soft velvet in a warm neutral shade of beige/fawn. The edges are finished with gorgeous tasseled bobbles. It has a metal zip closeure & comes complete with brand new duck feather insert. The overall condition is very good vintage with truly minor flaws; on the velvet back there are some small marks. Everything is good & strong & you can see the exact condition in my pictures. Really impossible to date as this is such a timeless classic so I have more or less guessed. It will never date! THE MEASUREMENTS... The cushion includes a brand new duck feather insert measuring 16 x 16 for maximum plumpability. HAPPY TO COMBINE SHIPPING WHERE PRACTICAL.
