Manufactured by one of Sweden's most distinguished 20th century furniture makers back in the 1960s. This teak sideboard by Troeds Bjrnum is a beautiful & simple design, sure to blend in effortlessly with any contemporary or vintage/retro home. Focussed on high-end clients, Troeds sought lightness of form & functionality, producing pieces that were desired by design addicts. The concertina drawer section epitomises the desired Mid-Century minimalist look as it eradicates the need for protruding handles. A truly wonderful vintage piece with a quality name. The sideboard has been fully stripped, sanded & refinished. This is potentially not the first time this piece has been restored & as a result the veneer has become very thin leaving the new finish with a slightly uneven colour in places. This is only fully visible in certain lights & still looks lovely in situ. The top cutlery drawer has been re-felted in as close to the original & signature bold blue colour as we could find. Measures approximately 191cm wide, 45cm deep & 79cm tall. All of our prices include VAT, please get it touch if you require a VAT receipt.
