Emperor Moth wall art, quilted wall hanging. Free shipping! This fabric art wall hanging is an interpretation of the male Emperor moth, using the bargello technique. Each of the 40+ bargello strips was customized to convey the shape of the moth wings. The moth body is made from two types of yarn to create the fuzzy moth body. Duck feathers were used for the antennae. Emperor Moth is based on a photo by Thomas Marent of Switzerland, copyright Thomas Marent, & used with permission. The label on the back includes the names of the quiltmaker & the photographer, & where & when (2016) this wall hanging was made.
