Ceramic Terracotta Small Moon Wall Hanging - Ceramic Wall Sculpture - 4 inch Orange Moon - Celestial decor -farmhouse crescent moon hanging. Moon original hand-made from earthenware clay with a clear glaze so the natural terracotta orange color shows nicely. This is great to add some color & interest to any area of your home, inside or outside on a yard art fence. Moon is 4 inches tall & 2 3/4 wide. Wire through the back makes it ready to hang with nail for hanging included with your order. The process: A slab of terracotta clay was rolled out using a rolling pin. The clay was cut into shape & then dried very slowly. When completely dry, about 10 days, it was placed into Momma kiln & fired for about 7 hours. When cool it was glazed with clear glaze & then the piece was then fired for another 7 hours.
