Have nothing in your home that you don't know to be useful or believe to be beautiful William Morris Charming Zachariah Boyle Rococo Revival Creamer/Jug, gold relief mould, Mazarin fronds & gold tendrils. Fluted edge & ornate base. Zachariah Boyle was born in Leeds, Yorkshire in 1783. He was a member of a large family, most of whom were engaged in the textile industry. By 1817 Zachariah was listed as an Auctioneer. in 1828 he decided to become a Pottery Manufacturer rather than a dealer. His company was listed as an Eathenware Pottery in Keeling Lane, Hanley Staffordshire where they operated until 1856. Not stamped but attributed to one of Zachariah Boyles the pattern number 99 is hand painted on the base. Considering the age, the creamer is in excellent antique condition. Please study the photos carefully. The dimensions are 4 1/2 tall by the spout & 2 1/2 wide. This magnificent collection belonged to an expert of 1750 - 1900 British Potteries, which he lovingly collected, catalogued & researched for over 50 + years.
