Have nothing in your home that you don't know to be useful or believe to be beautiful William Morris Ridgway Potteries Ltd - One of the largest potteries with eight factories comprises the group. The oldest which is Booths established in the 18th century. Simply elegant of orphaned footed teacup. Moulded relief florets on base. Grey flowers & leaves garlands on yellow ground. Not stamped but the pattern 2/3927 is hand painted on the underside which is attributed to Ridgway designs. Considering the age, the cup is in excellent antique condition. Please study the photos carefully. The dimensions are 3 7/8 wide & 2 1/4 tall. This magnificent piece was part of a collection by an expert of 1750 - 1900 British Potteries, which he lovingly curated, catalogued & researched for over 50 + years.
