My newest wabi sabi artwork, Garida, was born during the last days of autumn. Inspired by all what's happening under our feet during late fall. How everything slowly & gradually falls into decay. Or well deserved rest, should I rather say. Had a lot of pleasure with creating this piece. Especially the heavily scratched part, yes, those are my claws. Most of my artworks I caress softly & make textures much softer, but with this art we had kind of an argument how we see it's final form. I lost, as usual. I've never regretted that. So, we have scratches then. Dominant colors are brown & beige, but if you look carefully, you'll notice some drops of gold. Garida is great for any minimalist or modern interior, as well as boho, japandi or wabi sabi styled home. It's not canvas, it's made on wooden-mix board, thicker & more solid than canvas.
