This is a white handmade ceramic vase with a bumble bee. The vase has a hole on the back so that it can be hung on the wall. It is firstly cast with porcelain slip & then the bee is painted on with black & white slip, creating a decorative & textured surface. The porcelain vase is high fired to 1260 degrees with no glaze leaving a matte finish. Fully functional as a vase for tiny flowers or as a purely decorative ornament This small vase is a great gift for birthdays, weddings, anniversaries or Christmas & it would also be absolutely perfect with black & white themed interior design. I made this as well as all of my other ceramics in my little home studio in Devon & it comes complete with a signature on the base.
