A great quality, hand woven, vintage wicker rectangle basket with a strong fixed carry handle, & 2 sloped flaps that act as a lid, which fold out to reveal the interior of the basket. Approx size: height including handle 39.3cm/15.5 length at widest point 40.6cm/16 width at widest point 28cm/11 - base 30.5cm/12 x 21.6cm/8.5 Weight 900g/2lb Think picnics on the lawn or simply just a great item for storage. in good preloved condition. Please note: - some minor marks can be found on the cane for examples (see photo 10) - the flaps do not sit totally flush i.e. there is a small gap when they are closed (see photo 9), but this looks like how the basket was created, as there is no movement to actually make the lid shut down without a gap. - one flaps folds out all the way down (photo 3) & the other folds out to 45 degrees (photo 4) - there is one small piece of damaged can (approx half an inch long) (see photo 10). This is a vintage preloved item, meaning it is not new & may have minor flaws & show signs of use & wear, commensurate with & reflecting its age & vintage condition.
