A fused glass robin to hang on the Christmas tree, in the garden or at the kitchen window, in fact anywhere you would like to see a robin! Designed & handmade by me in my home studio in Cheshire, England. My robins measure 11 cm across & 8 cm deep, with a hanging thread & matching red or brown bead to finish the thread off. Each robin is hand cut from two pieces of thin glass with powder added to give the characteristic colours. The beak & tail are made from wire which is inserted between the two pieces before the robin is placed into the kiln for firing. Each robin has a black beady eye, to watch over you!
