Lovely Retro Hornsea Cereal/Soup Bowls in the Heirloom Pattern, Autumn Brown Colourway. The price is per bowl, at the time of listing I have 4 available, happy to combine postage if more than one ordered. Heirloom was Hornsea's first complete range of tableware, & was designed by John Clappison in 1966 - in production from 1967-1987. Appointed as chief designer in 1958, John quickly took Hornsea Pottery to the forefront of British design. in 1967, the factory began to produce full ranges of tableware, the first of which included Clappison's Heirloom, Saffron & Bront patterns. The pottery developed a unique screen-printing technique for these ranges Each bowl is stamped 1976 The bowl has straight sides & measures height 5.8 cm, diameter 12.6 cm in good condition with just minor scratches inside.
