This beautiful piece of furniture has been carefully painted in a pale, muted pink. The lace on the drawer fronts was first dyed with tea to give a vintage appearance. The drawers have been lined in French linen in blush pink & the wonderfully, ornate metal handles have been spray painted in gold. The two lower drawers have slightly curved fronts. There has been no woodworm & the whole piece stands very firmly with freely running drawers. The mirror is antique Edwardian. The frame is solid oak & very heavy. The mirror itself has foxing marks over it & a few marks at the top. It has a bevelled edge & the original hanging chain.
