Made to order. Beautiful set of 3 matching ceramic candle holders, made from speckled clay. The candlestick holders are unglazed with white glaze details to give these their modern nordic design feel. They come in 3 different heights & 3 different diameters & are approx: 15 centimeter, 12 cm & 8 cm in diameter & 8 cm, 5 cm & 3 centimeter tall. But as these are made to order, size may vary! But roughly this would be their size. They are the perfect (wedding) gift. I can put names, initials or dates on the bottom to make it really personal. To make these, I use the potter's wheel to throw the shape. After a day or so the clay is what we call 'leatherhard' & is ready to be trimmed. The candle holders then have to dry for another few days before it is ready to be bisque fired to almost 1000 C! Then it is time for some white glazing & they're is fired again, this time to 1260 C. It will take about 40 hrs before my kiln is cool enough so it can be opened to see if things worked out the way it was intented! After this I give the unglazed parts a good sanding to make it nice & smooth. SInce my ceramics are high fired they are waterproof & dishwasher safe, although I recommend handwash since dishwasher detergents can be harsh & ceramics easily get chipped in a dishwasher.
