Bowl is food safe, microwave & dishwasher safe as well. Good for serving or preparing food. 12.75 inches at the widest & 7 inches tall. This dish is very cool, however; it has a little kiln kiss on the right side coil. You can see it in the main photo. This happened when the glaze from another pot on the shelf above dripped onto this pot. It is kind of pretty to me, but I've lowered the price to account for the kiln kiss. Art Bowl, Pottery Dish
