Description
A colorful vintage art pottery vase made in Germany & decorated with bold pink & purple / lilac & purple blossoms with golden yellow centers against a field of green foliage. The decor scheme was hand-painted on a white ground & finished with a black upper rim. The decoration is very similar to the designs Eva Zeisel created for the German SMF (Schramberg Majolikafabrik) Manufactory in the 1930s. Good condition with age-appropriate crazing & a couple of glaze pops. The glaze at the rim is scuffed in two places. Marked underfoot MADE / in / GERMANY inside of an oval over impressed IV/2.
