A beautiful vintage velvet lamp shade, which clips onto the bulb, in red velvet & what I believe to be Latin inscriptions, finished with gold braid & gold tassels. in the photos I have it resting on a candle holder. This listing is for the shade only. It really is beautiful & I also love to use pretty shades on a shelf, purely decorative, not attached to a base. It is vintage & has mellowed inside with marks of glue where the braiding has been attached. None of which detract from its beauty.
