For your consideration, we are offering this Intriguing Insurance & Loans Office Sign. When researching this sign I came along an interesting article (posted below) about the life of Frank L. Travis. It stated that in 1897 Mr. Travis was a member of the firm Smith & Travis in Iola, Kansas. We believe this to be an original sign for that office in the late 1800s to early 1900s. The frame measures 22 1/2 wide by 9 1/4 tall by 1/4 deep. This is in very good condition. There are no losses to note on the sign. The wood frame has a nice aged appearance. I do not believe the frame is original to this sign, however, it does do a good job protecting the sign from any wear. There is a metal hanger on the back.
