Look at this beautiful & traditional vase It's simple & modern shape is in harmony with traditional, Turkish motifs. It is decorated with gold veins that run through its smooth walls, giving it the appearance of Kintsugi -a Japanese restoration technique of broken ceramics. Unlike Kintsugi technique, our vase is a whole piece & not produced by mending broken pieces. Each piece is unique with its decorative gold pattern, & indigidually crafted & painted by hand. Liquid gold leaf is used for decoration. Solid, high-fired stoneware clay, when completed with your special decorative objects, will create a warm feeling . Each vase is handcrafted & retouched for a perfect shape. Then, we first fire them at 900 oC (1652 oF). It is called bisque firing. After bisque firing, we retouch them again & high fired at 1200 oC (2192 oF) to reach their final form. Material: Stoneware All items are carefully inspected, wrapped & shipped.
