On offer is this lovely collectible historical napkin ring. It's in good condition overall, the silver plating shines up well still - notable ware however all around the edging, text area & inner areas (please refer to images) exposing the base nickel silver (brassy tone); light scuffs & scratches too commensurate with age & usage but as shown all adding to the aged charm & character of the piece. It's of traditional concave form, decorated with banded lines around the top & bottom edging which display well still. The front side has also been beautifully engraved with Gravenhage. No. 2. French produced by the renowned Christofle, circa first to second quarter of the 20th century. It measures a charming 50mm in outer diameter, 29mm in height & despite the condition issues raised is ready to be collected & enjoyed once again!
