On offer are these two very decorative antique vases. They're both in good condition overall, no chips or restoration - there is a notable manufacturing flaw around one of the vases (please refer to images) as well as notable flaws to the glazing over both; glaze nibbles too as well as light surface glaze scuffs & scratches commensurate with age but as shown all adding to the aged charm & character of the duo. They're of traditional form, each beautifully hand decorated with an attractive blue & white floral design which stands out on display from all angles. Both retain their original crimped rims which add a nice finish. Unmarked for a maker, Japanese produced, circa end of the Meiji period, early 20th century. The smaller vase measures 29.5cm (11 & 1/2 inches) in height & the larger 30.5cm (12 inches). A lovely striking duo ready to be collected & enjoyed once again!
