On offer is this lovely traditional modern menorah. It's in good condition overall, the brass metal shines up well still all over - notable scuffs & scratches as well as extensive tarnished specs over the lacquer but as shown in the photos all adding to the aged charm & character of the piece. It's of traditional menorah form, the five branches representing the five levels of the soul - Nefesh, Ruach, Neshama, Chaya & yechida according to Kabbalistic teaching. These traditionally stood on the cantor's stand in a synagogue. Unmarked for a maker, late 20th / early 21st century. It measures an impressive 34cm (13 & 1/4 inches) in total length & 33cm (13 inches) in height. The base diameter is 13.3cm (5 & 1/4 inches). Candles cannot measure more than 22mm in order to fit. A lovely modern five branch menorah ready to be collected & enjoyed once again! The postage quote is for "Tracked Airmail".
