On offer is this lovely collectible historical serving ladle. It's in good condition overall, the silver plating shines up well still - light scuffs & scratches commensurate with age as well as a light discolored area to the back of the handle but as shown all adding to the aged charm & character of the piece. It's of traditional form, decorated with an old English pattern handle terminal complete with engraved armorial crest showing a bird of prey perched on a hand, the cuff with a crescent. Sheffield or Birmingham produced, circa first quarter of the 20th century. It measures an impressive 32.5cm (12 & 3/4 inches) in length & is ready to be collected & enjoyed once again!
