On offer is this lovely collectible Victorian basting spoon. It's in good condition overall, the silver plating shines up well still - there's a notable area of ware to the reverse side of the bowl which has exposed the base nickel silver (brassy tone); notable light scuffs & scratches all over too commensurate with age but as shown all adding to the aged charm & character of the piece. It's of traditional form, decorated with an old English & fiddle pattern handle terminal complete with engraved Gothic font initial. Sheffield or Birmingham produced, circa late 19th century. It measures an impressive 31.5cm (12 & 1/2 inches) in length & is ready to be collected & enjoyed once again! The postage quote is for a Royal Mail tracked & insured service.
