On offer is this lovely pair of fish servers. Both items are in good condition overall, unfortunately the original silver plating has extensively worn away over the years exposing the base nickel silver (brassy tone); light scuffs & scratches too commensurate with age but as shown in the photos all adding to the aged charm & character of the set. They're of traditional form, both decorated with a bright cut inspired border outline. The fish slide blade has also been decorated with a charming floral spray which stands out on display. Both handles have been crafted from polished horn - two pieces each - & are in really good order still - notable light scratches here & there. The collars/ ferrules are both sterling silver & hallmarked for Sheffield, 1909 & the maker Henry Greaves. The silver plate is unmarked for a maker. They measure 23.5cm & 29.5cm (9 & 1/4 inches & 11 & 1/2 inches) in length. A lovely unique duo ready to be used & enjoyed once again! The postage quote is for Tracked Airmail.
